Most astrology apps begin by explaining your chart. North Within begins with the question your chart is helping you answer. You tell us what you want to create, change, or move toward. We organize your chart around that goal, show what current transits are emphasizing, and help you keep track of what happens next.
Your goal gives your chart a question to answer. It might be a promotion you are considering, a business you want to open, a creative project you are ready to finish, or a change you want to make in your life. The more North Within understands what you are working toward, the more clearly it can identify which parts of your chart matter most for the question.
Your birth date, time, and place create the natal chart at the center of North Within. Your Blueprint brings forward the placements and patterns most relevant to your goal. It can show how you may naturally approach what you want, which strengths are already part of the picture, and what may be especially important as you move toward it.
For someone opening a yoga studio, the chart might highlight a natural ability to create a comfortable space for students, along with a strong need for flexibility in the weekly schedule. That reading changes the questions worth asking: How much does she want to teach herself? Which classes could another teacher own? What would help new students feel comfortable?
Your birth chart stays the same. Current transits keep moving. North Within looks at the longer transits active in your chart to identify a Growth Season and the larger theme they are bringing forward. A Season of Foundation, for example, may place more attention on the structure, responsibilities, and routines that will support what you are building. Your goal shows where that larger chapter is most relevant in your life.
Your Current Focus names the practical area that may help most with your goal now. It may center on leadership, consistency, courage, boundaries, or another capability connected to what you are working toward. This gives your daily guidance a clear center, so you understand why a particular question, practice, or pattern is being brought forward.
Cosmic Weather shows the current transits touching your natal placements and what they may emphasize while they are active. A Mercury transit may make a presentation, application, or important conversation more relevant that day. A quieter sky may place more attention on the longer pattern already described in your Blueprint or Growth Season.
Today’s Alignment helps you take optional aligned actions toward your goals. It might be a visualization, an affirmation selected for your Current Focus, or a reminder of progress you previously recorded in Journey. The aim is to give you something light and relevant to carry into the day to help keep you aligned to your goal.
Guide lets you ask questions about your goal and chart. You can ask why a placement matters for your goal, how a current transit connects to your chart, or what you may want to consider as a decision develops. You can also ask about any of your other chart placements.
You can also bring a question to Tarot or analyze a dream. In Tarot, a virtual deck is shuffled and selects the card or cards first. Then the interpretation begins after the draw is complete.
